The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 339, It is Florida's 50th smallest by population . It covers total area of 2.43 sq mi (6.29 sq km), of which, 0.45 square miles (1.17 sq km) of it is land and 1.98 square miles (5.13 sq km) of it is water, it is the 553rd largest in terms of geographical size.
