Mamou Town is a town located in the Evangeline Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 3566 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 3414, making it the 137th most populous in Louisiana. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.41 square miles (3.65 square kilometre), giving it the 86th smallest by total area among Louisiana.
