Malad City City is a city located in Oneida County, Idaho, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The city has a population of 2158 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 2084, It is the 55th most populous in the U.S. state of Idaho. Its area is just over 1.67 mi˛ (4.33 sq km), makes it the 63rd largest by total area in Idaho.

The population density was 1294.6 people per square mile (499.85/km˛), it is Idaho's 84th most densely populated city.
