Magnolia Town is a town located in the Duplin County, North Carolina, United States. The population of the town was 932 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 989, making it the 401st most populous in North Carolina. The town encompasses an area of 1.04 square miles (2.69 sq km), it is the 143rd smallest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 932 residents, 343 households, and 234 families in the town. The population density was 900 people per square mile (347.49/kmē), giving it the 244th most densely populated town among the North Carolina. There were 384 housing units at an average density of 369.2 per square mile (142.55/kmē). The average household size was 2.71 people, and the average family size was 3.25 people.
