Madison County is a county in the United States of Arkansas. In 2000, the population was 14243. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 15651, making it the 51st most populous county in Arkansas. The county comprises an area of 837.06 sq mi (2167.98 sq km), of which, 836.81 square miles (2167.33 sq km) of it is land and 0.25 square miles (0.65 sq km) of it is water, making it the 13th largest by size in Arkansas.
