Madison City is a city located in Madison County, Nebraska, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 2367 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2186, It is the 52nd most populous in the U.S. state of Nebraska. It has total area of 1.14 mi˛ (2.95 sq km), it is the 75th largest by area in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
