Madera City is a city located in the Madera County, California, United States. In 2000, the population was 43207. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 56700, It is the 177th largest by population in the U.S. state of California. The city extends throughout a territory of 12.29 sq mi (31.83 kmē ), giving it the 275th largest by total area among California.
