Madeira Beach City, Pinellas County, Florida is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 4511 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 4339, making it the 449th most populous in Florida. It has total area of 3.27 sq mi (8.47 sq km), of which, 1.03 square miles (2.67 sq km) of it is land and 2.24 square miles (5.8 sq km) of it is water, making it the 473rd largest by size in Florida.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 4511 residents, 2528 households, and 1122 families in the city. The population density was 4392 people per square mile (1695.76/kmē), it would be the 160th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Florida. There were 3976 housing units at an average density of 3860.2 per square mile (1490.43/kmē). The average household size was 1.78 persons, and the average family size was 2.36 persons. The racial makeup of the city was 97.05% White, 0.27% Black or African American, 0.31% American Indian, 0.58% Asian, 0.04% Native Hawaiian, 1.09% from two or more races and 0.67% Other races.
