Mackay City is one of the city of Custer County, Idaho, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 566 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 548 in July 2008, giving it the 117th largest population among Idaho. Its area is just over 0.87 mi˛ (2.25 square kilometre), makes it the 99th largest by total area in Idaho.
