Lyman Town is a town located in the Uinta County, Wyoming, United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 1938 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2009, It is 32nd most populous in Wyoming. The town extends throughout a territory of 1.46 mi˛ (3.78 sq km ), it is the 132nd largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1938 people in the town, organized into 640 households, and 505 families living in the town. The population density was 1326.7 people per square mile (512.24/km˛), it is Wyoming's 21st most densely populated town. There were 708 housing units at an average density of 484.9 per square mile (187.22/km˛). It has an average household size was 3.03 persons, and the average family size was 3.48 persons. In the town the population was spread out, with 36.5% under the age of 18, 10.5% from 18 to 24, 24.8% from 25 to 44, 22% from 45 to 64, and 6.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 106.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.3 males. The median age is 27.9 years, the median age of male residents at 25.5 and the median age of female residents at 29.6. The racial makeup of the town was 98.3% White, 0% Black or African American, 0.41% American Indian, 0.1% Asian, 0.05% Native Hawaiian, 0.52% from two or more races and 0.62% Other races.
