Lyman Town is a town located in the Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2659. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2870, It is the 142nd largest in terms of population. The town has a total area of 4.07 mi˛ (10.54 square kilometre), of which, 4.07 square miles (10.54 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 136th largest by total area among South Carolina.
