Luray Town is one of the town of Page County, Virginia, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 4871. The July 2008 population estimate is 4843, It is the 132nd largest in terms of population. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.75 sq mi (12.3 kmē), of which, 4.74 square miles (12.28 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 141st largest by total area in Virginia.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4871 people, 2037 households, and 1332 families residing in the town. The population density was 1026.8 people per square mile (396.45/kmē), making it the 175th most densely populated town in Virginia.
