Lumberton City is one of the city of Robeson County, North Carolina, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 20795 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 22006 in July 2008, It is North Carolina's 33rd largest by population . It covers total area of 15.8 sq mi (40.92 kmē), of which, 15.72 square miles (40.71 kmē) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 45th largest by total area among North Carolina.
