Lufkin City is a city located in Angelina County, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of the city was 32709 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 34530, It is the 76th largest in terms of population. The city comprises an area of 26.83 square miles (69.49 sq km), of which, 26.7 square miles (69.15 sq km) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 sq km) of it is water, it is the 83rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
