Lu Verne City is a city located in the Kossuth and Humboldt counties, Iowa, United States. The city has a population of 299 as per the 2000 census data. The city spans an area of 2.26 sq mi (5.85 kmē), it is the 164th largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
