Loyalton City is one of the city of Sierra County, California, located towards the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. The population of the city was 862 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 777, making it California's 155th smallest. It covers total area of 0.34 square miles (0.88 kmē), it is the 27th smallest by area in the U.S. state of California.
