Lower Burrell City is one of the city of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The city has a population of 12608 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 12087, It is Pennsylvania's 76th largest by population . The city has a total area of 11.82 sq mi (30.61 square kilometre), of which, 11.55 square miles (29.91 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.27 square miles (0.7 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 37th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
