Lowell Town is a one of the Lake County, Indiana, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 7505 as per the Census data. Its population was estimated at 8405 in July 2008, giving it the 85th largest population among Indiana. Its area is just over 4.16 sq mi (10.77 square kilometre), of which, 4.08 square miles (10.57 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 111th largest by size in Indiana.
