Lowden City is a city located in Cedar County, Iowa, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 794. In July 2008, its estimated population was 804, giving it the 346th largest population among Iowa. The city spans an area of 1.01 square miles (2.62 square kilometre), it is the 366th largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
