Louisville City is a city in the Blount County, Tennessee, United States. It is home to over 2001 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2192, It is the 183rd most populous in the U.S. state of Tennessee. The city extends throughout a territory of 13.47 square miles (34.89 kmē ), of which, 11.58 square miles (29.99 kmē) of it is land and 1.89 square miles (4.9 kmē) of it is water, it is the 57th largest by area in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is ranks ninth in the size of its inland waterways in Tennessee.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2001 people, 5369 households, and 3232 families living in the city. The population density was 172.8 people per square mile (66.72/kmē), making its Tennessee's 37th least densely populated city.
