Louisburg Town is a one of the Franklin County, North Carolina, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 3111 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 3785, making it North Carolina's 190th largest. It covers total area of 2.34 sq mi (6.06 kmē), it is the 344th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3111 people in the town, organized into 1123 households, and 677 families residing in the town. The population density was 1327.1 people per square mile (512.4/kmē), making its North Carolina's 105th most densely populated town.
