Louisa City is a one of the Lawrence County, Kentucky, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 2018 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2088, It is the 165th largest in terms of population. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.38 mi˛ (3.57 sq km), of which, 1.35 square miles (3.5 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, making it the 227th largest by size in Kentucky.
