Los Alamitos City is one of the city of Orange County, California, located towards the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Los Alamitos City is home to 11536 inhabitants. The city encompasses an area of 4.1 sq mi (10.62 kmē ), of which, 4.01 square miles (10.39 kmē) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 kmē) of it is water, it is the 602nd largest by area in the U.S. state of California.
