Loris City, Horry County, South Carolina is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 2079 people (2000 census). The July 2008 population estimate is 2351, It is 173rd most populous in South Carolina. The city extends throughout a territory of 3.12 miē (8.08 kmē ), of which, 3.11 square miles (8.05 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 196th largest in terms of geographical size.
