Longwood City is a city located in the Seminole County, Florida, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 13745 as per the Census data. The city encompasses an area of 5.61 sq mi (14.53 sq km ), of which, 5.32 square miles (13.78 sq km) of it is land and 0.29 square miles (0.75 sq km) of it is water, it is the 309th largest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.
