Longmont City, Colorado is a city of the Boulder and Weld counties, Colorado, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 71093 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 85928 in July 2008, It is Colorado's 12th largest by population . The city spans an area of 21.81 sq mi (56.49 square kilometre), of which, 21.79 square miles (56.44 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 28th largest by area in the U.S. state of Colorado.
