Long Prairie City, Minnesota is a city of the Todd County, Minnesota, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 3040 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2809, giving it the 183rd largest population among Minnesota. The city has a total area of 2.43 square miles (6.29 sq km), of which, 2.37 square miles (6.14 sq km) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 sq km) of it is water, it is the 268th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
