Lone Tree City is a one of the Johnson County, Iowa, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1151 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1184, It is the 245th largest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.99 square miles (2.56 kmē ), it is the 397th largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
