Lone Grove City, Carter County, Oklahoma is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 4631 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 5276, It is the 74th most populous in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It is spread over 28.1 sq mi (72.78 square kilometre), of which, 28.07 square miles (72.7 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 30th largest by area in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4631 people in the city, organized into 1673 households, and 1345 families living in the city. The population density was 165 people per square mile (63.71/kmē), it is the 169th least populated city in terms of population density. There were 1873 housing units at an average density of 66.7 per square mile (25.75/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.76 persons, and the average family size was 3.11 persons. In the city Age distribution was 30.9% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 30.2% from 25 to 44, 21.6% from 45 to 64, and 8.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 100.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.6 males. The median age of the city's population was 33.1 years, the median age of male residents at 31.5 and the median age of female residents at 34.2. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 84.5% White, 1.86% Black or African American, 7.9% American Indian, 0.15% Asian, 0.11% Native Hawaiian, 4.97% from two or more races and 0.52% Other races.
