It is New Hampshire's 13th largest by population . The census designated place spans an area of 12.22 mi˛ (31.65 sq km), of which, 12.2 square miles (31.6 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 14th largest by total area in New Hampshire.
