Its population was estimated at 10562 in July 2008, It is Georgia's 129th largest by population . Its area is just over 6.04 square miles (15.64 kmē), of which, 6.03 square miles (15.62 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 139th largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
