Logan City is one of the city of Logan County, West Virginia, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 1630 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1501, It is 99th most populous in West Virginia. It covers total area of 1.26 sq mi (3.26 kmē), of which, 1.16 square miles (3 kmē) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 kmē) of it is water, it is the 126th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1630 people, 750 households, and 423 families living in the city. The population density was 1403.5 people per square mile (541.89/kmē), it is 104th most densely populated city in West Virginia.
