Logan City is a United States city located in the Cache County, Utah, United States. As of 2000 the population was 42670. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 48657, It is the 11th most populous in the U.S. state of Utah. The city comprises an area of 17.05 sq mi (44.16 square kilometre), of which, 16.52 square miles (42.79 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.54 square miles (1.4 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 35th largest by size in Utah. It is ranks 11 in the size of its inland waterways in Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 42670 people, 13902 households, and 9174 families living in the city. The population density was 2583.2 people per square mile (997.38/kmē), it would be the 31st most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Utah.
