Lodi Borough is one of the borough of Bergen County, New Jersey, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 23971 inhabitants. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 23776, It is 54th most populous in New Jersey. It is spread over 2.27 mi˛ (5.88 square kilometre), of which, 2.26 square miles (5.85 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 264th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 23971 people in the borough, organized into 457 households, and 284 families residing in the borough. The population density was 10590.6 people per square mile (4089.05/km˛), making its New Jersey's 29th most densely populated borough. There were 9908 housing units at an average density of 4384.1 per square mile (1692.71/km˛). The average household size was 2.5 persons, and the average family size was 3.16 persons. The population's age distribution was 21.3% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 34.5% from 25 to 44, 21.2% from 45 to 64, and 14.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 90.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87 males. The median age is 36.4 years, The median age of males was 35 years, for females the median age was 37.9 years. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 78.16% White, 3.55% Black or African American, 0.17% American Indian, 8.86% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, 2.97% from two or more races and 6.25% Other races.
