Lockport City is a city located in the Niagara County, New York, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 22279 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 20630, making it New York's 70th largest. The city spans an area of 8.65 sq mi (22.4 sq km), of which, 8.53 square miles (22.09 sq km) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 79th largest by total area among New York.
