Lock Haven City is a one of the Clinton County, Pennsylvania, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of the city was 9149 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 8541, giving it the 123rd largest population among Pennsylvania. Its area is just over 2.66 sq mi (6.89 kmē), of which, 2.51 square miles (6.5 kmē) of it is land and 0.15 square miles (0.39 kmē) of it is water, it is the 257th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

The median age was 25 years, The median age of males was 24.1 years, for females the median age was 26.3 years. The racial makeup of the city was 8807 White, 131 Black or African American, 14 American Indian, 75 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 82 from two or more races and 39 Ohter races.
