Live Oak City is a city located in the Bexar County, Texas, United States. The population of the city was 9156 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 13142, It is 222nd most populous in Texas. The city encompasses an area of 4.71 mi˛ (12.2 square kilometre ), of which, 4.68 square miles (12.12 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 444th largest by total area among Texas.
