Live Oak City is a city located in Suwannee County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 6480 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 7215, It is the 363rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Florida. The city spans an area of 6.96 square miles (18.03 sq km), making it Florida's 258th largest by total area.
