Little Silver Borough is one of the borough of Monmouth County, New Jersey, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. Little Silver Borough had an official population of 6170 in 2000. In July 2008, its estimated population was 6119, It is the 254th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough extends throughout a territory of 3.37 square miles (8.73 sq km ), of which, 2.77 square miles (7.17 sq km) of it is land and 0.6 square miles (1.55 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 172nd largest by total area among New Jersey.

The population density was 2226.2 people per square mile (859.54/kmē), it is New Jersey's 318th most densely populated borough. There were 2288 housing units at an average density of 826 per square mile (318.92/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.76 persons, and the average family size was 3.13 persons. In the borough Population was distributed with 27.4% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 25% from 25 to 44, 27.7% from 45 to 64, and 15.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87 males.
