Little Ferry Borough is one of the borough of Bergen County, New Jersey, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 10800 as per the Census data. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 10477, It is 155th most populous in New Jersey. The borough has a total area of 1.69 sq mi (4.38 sq km), of which, 1.53 square miles (3.96 sq km) of it is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 326th largest by total area among New Jersey.

The population density was 7075.2 people per square mile (2731.75/kmē), making it the 59th most densely populated borough in New Jersey. There were 4449 housing units at an average density of 2907.8 per square mile (1122.71/kmē). The average household size was 2.47 persons, and the average family size was 3.16 persons. In the borough the population was spread out, with 20.2% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 36.3% from 25 to 44, 23.6% from 45 to 64, and 12.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.7 males. The median age is 37.1 years, the median age of male residents at 36.1 and the median age of female residents at 37.9. The racial makeup of the borough was 68.76% White, 4.71% Black or African American, 0.15% American Indian, 17.1% Asian, 0.06% Native Hawaiian, 3.47% from two or more races and 5.75% Other races.
