Litchfield City is a city located in the Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 6562 as per the Census data. The city extends throughout a territory of 4.68 mi˛ (12.12 square kilometre ), of which, 3.75 square miles (9.71 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.92 square miles (2.38 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 165th largest by size in Minnesota.
