Linwood City is a United States city located in the Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. Linwood City had an official population of 7172 in 2000. In July 2008, its estimated population was 7216, It is the 228th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The city has a total area of 4.14 square miles (10.72 square kilometre), of which, 3.83 square miles (9.92 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.31 square miles (0.8 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 134th largest by total area among New Jersey.
