Linn County, Oregon is a county located in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. In 2000, the population was 103069. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 115348, It is the eighth largest county by population in the U.S. state of Oregon. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 2310.15 mi˛ (5983.26 sq km), of which, 2292.18 square miles (5936.72 sq km) of it is land and 17.97 square miles (46.54 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 15th largest by total area in Oregon.

The population density was 45 people per square mile (17.37/km˛), it is the 13th most densely populated county in the U.S. state of Oregon. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 26% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 27% from 25 to 44, 24.1% from 45 to 64, and 14.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 97.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 115348, The racial makeup of the county was 109241 White, 651 Black or African American, 1575 American Indian, 1208 Asian, 199 Native Hawaiian, and 2474 from two or more races.
