Linden City is a city located in Marengo County, Alabama, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. Linden City had an official population of 2424 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2255, making it the 169th most populous in Alabama. The city spans an area of 3.62 square miles (9.38 kmē), of which, 3.59 square miles (9.3 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 296th largest by total area among Alabama.
