Lincoln Parish is a parish in the United States of Louisiana. The population of parish in 2000 stood at 42509 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 42561, making it the 26th most populous parish in Louisiana. The parish has a total area of 472.27 sq mi (1223.17 square kilometre), of which, 471.38 square miles (1220.87 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.89 square miles (2.31 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 16th smallest by total area in Louisiana.

The population density was 90.2 people per square mile (34.83/kmē), it is the 20th most populated parish in terms of population density. There were 17000 housing units at an average density of 36.1 per square mile (13.94/kmē). The average household size was 2.44 persons, and the average family size was 3.01 persons. In the parish the population was distributed as follows: 22.1% under the age of 18, 25.7% from 18 to 24, 23.2% from 25 to 44, 17.6% from 45 to 64, and 11.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.9 males. The parish's estimated population as of July 2008 was 42561, The racial or ethnic makeup of the parish was 57.3% White, 40.54% Black or African American, 0.2% American Indian, 1.16% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, and 0.78% from two or more races.
