Lincoln County is one of the 77 county of Oklahoma, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of county in 2000 stood at 32080 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 32153, It is Oklahoma's 31st most populous county. The county spans an area of 965.62 square miles (2500.94 sq km), of which, 957.74 square miles (2480.54 sq km) of it is land and 7.88 square miles (20.41 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 25th largest by total area in Oklahoma.

The population density was 33.5 people per square mile (12.93/kmē), it is Oklahoma's 34th most densely populated county. There were 13712 housing units at an average density of 14.3 per square mile (5.52/kmē). The average household size was 2.59 persons, and the average family size was 3.03 persons. In the county the population was spread out, with 27.4% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 26.7% from 25 to 44, 24.1% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 97.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.5 males. In July 2008, its estimated population was 32153, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 27747 White, 829 Black or African American, 2221 American Indian, 111 Asian, 8 Native Hawaiian, and 1237 from two or more races.
