Lincoln County is a United States county located in the United States of Mississippi. The county has a population of 33166 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 34931 in July 2008, It is Mississippi's 26th most populous county. It covers total area of 588.17 mi˛ (1523.35 sq km), of which, 585.71 square miles (1516.98 sq km) of it is land and 2.47 square miles (6.4 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 37th largest by total area among Mississippi's county.

In the county Population was distributed with 26.7% under the age of 18, 9.5% from 18 to 24, 27.6% from 25 to 44, 22.3% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who were 65 or older.
