Lincoln County is a United States county located in the United States of Maine. The population of county in 2000 stood at 33616 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 34628, It is the fourth smallest in terms of population. The county extends throughout a territory of 699.81 square miles (1812.5 square kilometre ), of which, 455.99 square miles (1181.01 square kilometre) of it is land and 243.82 square miles (631.49 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the third smallest by size in Maine. It is ranks seventh in the size of its inland waterways in Maine.
