Lincoln County is a one of the county from Idaho's 44 counties, located in Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 4044. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 4503, It is eighth least populous county in Idaho. The county has a total area of 1205.86 square miles (3123.16 kmē), of which, 1205.53 square miles (3122.31 kmē) of it is land and 0.33 square miles (0.85 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 25th largest by total area among Idaho's county.

The population density was 3.4 people per square mile (1.31/kmē), making its Idaho's 11th least densely populated county. There were 1651 housing units at an average density of 1.4 per square mile (0.54/kmē). The average household size was 2.77 persons, and the average family size was 3.27 persons. In the county Age distribution was 30.4% under the age of 18, 9% from 18 to 24, 25.5% from 25 to 44, 22% from 45 to 64, and 13.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 93.9 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 94.5 females. Its population was estimated at 4503 in July 2008, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 95.4% White, 1.02% Black or African American, 1.47% American Indian, 0.42% Asian, 0.04% Native Hawaiian, and 1.64% from two or more races.
