Lincoln City is a city located in the Talladega County, Alabama, United States. As of 2000 the population was 4577. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 5846, giving it the 114th largest population among Alabama. The city comprises an area of 21.46 mi˛ (55.58 square kilometre), of which, 21.33 square miles (55.24 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Alabama's 44th largest by total area.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 4577 people, 1831 households, and 1355 families residing in the city. The population density was 214.6 people per square mile (82.86/km˛), it is 326th most densely populated city in Alabama. There were 2297 housing units at an average density of 107.7 per square mile (41.58/km˛). The average household size was 2.5 persons, and the average family size was 2.89 persons. In the city Population was distributed with 22.9% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 28.4% from 25 to 44, 28.8% from 45 to 64, and 11.6% who were 65 or older.
